Feeling Overwhelmed? Gentle Ways to Support Your Nervous System
You’re burnt out, overwhelmed, and wondering if things will ever feel better. I see you.
The truth is, our body and mind are not meant to be in constant over drive- and yet so many women are living there. Whether, you’re a mom scrolling at 1am because it’s the only time you get to yourself, or you’ve just typed into Google “How do I feel better right now?” ………..I’m really glad you’re here.
Welcome, to this space— My own thoughts in the quieter late hours. My hope is that this becomes a place where you feel a sense of connection, and where you can find gentle, supportive resources—especially if you’re navigating pregnancy, fertility struggles, loss, postpartum, or hormonal shifts of any kind.
If it feels okay for you, take a moment to pause as you’re reading this.
You might notice your breath…
wiggle your fingers…
or simply name one thing you can see around you.
Maybe you roll your shoulders back, or shift your posture just slightly.
Take whatever small step feels available—just enough to feel even 1% more connected to yourself or your space.
This is where we begin.
Small, intentional shifts that gently support your nervous system.
From here, You might ask yourself “What do I already know about the things that work for me?”
See if you can begin to recognize the moments when you feel revived, at ease, or even just okay enough. You might hold that image and expand it. Gently letting it become more vivid. As you do, begin to notice something important. There is wisdom already within you.
Sometimes the answer to “What works for me?” lives in the smallest of places—
sipping your coffee in the morning hours, noticing the tulips blooming, letting yourself connect to quiet moments when the baby is fast asleep.
These moments matter and they’re data points.
Self care and nervous system support, doesn’t have to be extravagant or expensive routines, or extra commitments we have to put on the to do list. Sometimes, it simply begins with curiosity.
With noticing.
With gathering small pieces of information about what helps you feel even just a little more like yourself.
